Well, it never ended up happening did it? I thought maybe it would be resurected at one point or another but it never happened. So I figure I may as well dust off my contribution and put it up for your enjoyment.
I recorded two songs, a cover of Suicide and an original written in Dev tuning (CGCGCE). The problem is that I lost the disk with my master mixes, so I only have a disk of roughs..... I am only happy with the mix on the cover, so I have only put that up. I'll post some other original music at a later date but for now, enjoy this. It was recorded over a year ago now, back when I was 19. I have some photos of the recording sessions which I may put up soon.

I have posted a thread in the musicians forum with the details of the recording sessions and gear used. I'll post the photos there soon.

Very well done Greg ... Do you sing also ? It makes me think about something we could do on the HDR site. In the Fan section, post bits of covers made by fans with a little comment. It could be cool
Good job anyway
Geoff

Awesome work Greg, a very impressive cover. My only gripe would be that your voice is mixed a bit quiet...and I am only complaining about that because it seems that your voice is very good, I want to hear it more!
This cover sets the standard for the rest to follow...come on guys! I want to hear more of these.

very, very good idea and very good cover indeed. I hear some slight changes in that cover compared to the original too. Now I just wish I could play an instrument besides the Rusty Trombone

So I hope more people will come up with some cool covers. That CD is a great idea!

Thanks everyone! *blushes* A compliment from a DTB member!
I remember someone else posted a good version of Deep Peace back in the day... Is that person still around?
Yeah, the vocals are quiet, this was the rough mix and I lost my master disk... Oh well.

You son of a bitch....you nailed it. I hope like hell you decide to make a lot of original music; I'd buy it.
