Hello everyone at the DTB discussion board!

First off, I'm a new member to this board and I hope that everyone will enjoy my stay here.

Regarding my subject title, I do in fact intend to apologize to Devin Townsend and bandmates! I had the fortune of meeting them in 2003 during a show in Montreal; however, a friend working at the venue that night snuck me backstage while the band was having supper and although everyone signed my CD booklet and were cool about the intrusion, I felt so bad about it and still do to this day! So, Devin & all, if you don't remember this happening then I guess I'm pretty lucky but if you do, please accept my sincerest apologies!

Don't get me wrong! They were really respectful towards me despite my interuption. I've just had this cloud of guilt over my head for the past two years that I may have possibly ruined their supper, hahaha...

Little things I do like that always gets on my nerves and keeps bugging me when I try to sleep, but thats for the psychiatrist to sort out

That is very kind of you to offer your apologies to the guys over this, but I am sure (as they will maybe also tell you) that it was no problem to them.

Though I would be worried if I had done the same I suppose, heh. Anything that makes me nervous like that is also something I tend to dwell over if I feel I have done something wrong.

Oh so you 're THE guy of Montreal, I think Ryan mentioned it one time, I remember he nailed some cheap vodoo puppet with your name on it!!!!!TAKE CARE MAN§!!

I think I may have also taken a picture with the band or some band members. If I find it, I will upload it. Maybe the band will recognize me and hate me all over again??? Maybe I shouldn't post it afterall. LOL

Oh man! That intrusion was all over the news back in 03. The band almost broke up due to increased levels of stress brought on by supper intruders. In fact, Devin almost quit music all together and moved to Mongolia to study the art of eating twigs.

First of all....Welcome to the board Cenotaphia ! I hope you're having fun here...

Secondly, no need for apologies ! I do remember you or someone who came into our dressing room while we were eating (must have been you) and it's all cool. We've had some fans do some crazy shit to get signatures or meet Dev or whatever ! Put it this way....you were polite when you got in the room, you were respectful of our time and you did'nt hang out and watch us eat ! LOL ! It was all cool and hopefully you have a cool memory from that meeting and that show. We are all pretty chilled-out guy's who are appreciative of our fans !

The short, heavy-set guy with a Hockey Jersey you guy's are talking about is a cool guy named Eric who comes out to all the Devy (SYL or DTB) shows that go thru Montreal. He always wear's a Philadelphia Flyers jersey and he's a cool guy.

Lastly, when you came into our dressing room I remember I was eating this awesome Penne Chicken Pasta with a Ceasar salad....it was awesome ! Funny I can remember stuff like that huh ?

I don't know where the Pasta came from bro, it was ordered in for us at that show. It was damn good though....

Yeah, we'll definitely head over to Milestones when we come out your way next time. Hopefully it will be close to the venue we play. The last time we were in Calgary we went to The Keg, it was pretty kick ass as well !

We never did get to see ya' at the Vancouver (Park Royal) one, although Beavis and I tried a couple times and never caught ya' working ! Milestones RULES !
