The place to speak about Dev's current projects, and everything yet to come

Massive fan of Cog and Karnivool, seeing one of them with Dev would be a 3 hour orgasm, of the musical kind.

I'm torn between that, and something else though. Cog and Karnivool tour regularly, so it's almost like we can see them 'any time'. What I reckon would be even greater would be for Devin to do a Rush/Dream Theater style 'evening with' type of tour. He more than has the back catalogue, and enough following down here to pack out the Corner/Hi Fi Bar type venues to do that. 2 hours+ of Dev, now I'd like to see that! Make it happen!

RVP said he really liked the last Karnivool album though. Maybe you could poke him to make it happen ;)

Very cool Dev. That makes me proud to be doing my part. I've got my tickets and I'll be on the gate doing my job as a fan to make sure we get a headling tour. See you at the merch booth.

So, nothing has been confirmed yet?

Dev definitely seems intent on coming here, which ROCKS.
Hope if he does do a festival he also does some personal shows.

More from Dev's Twitter!

'Well it's official, Australian tour, first date March 12. More details soon...it's going to be an absolute rager of a party. See you there?'

See you there? With ALL MANNER of bells on!

Seriously, it's so nice to have your support, but I've got to prove myself in the scene to warrant a headlining tour. BTBAM sold a good deal of albums in week 1 and have been working their ASSES off to be in the position theyre in. I'm very happy to support them. Same with Cynic. In fact, this tour is me testing the temperature of the water before jumping in. If I headlined straight off the bat over these guys, it would be totally unfair to the amount of work they have put in.

If it goes well, I'm sure I'll headline...but the industry is pretty wary of me already, so I need to prove that I've 'got the goods' in terms of sales and a good live show. I feel really confident, but anything could happen.

It's a business, and people have families to feed. (including me) so I'll do my best to prove to not only the labels, the scene, and whoever comes to the show that it's worth everybodys investment.

i hear ya. it's just really lame that there isn't a WA date on this bill. i mean, i've been trying to see you for years and years, and i missed my opportunity at Ozzfest 06. but i hope that you do a headline tour soon.

honestly, the way you have been busting YOUR ass the past 2 albums, i'm sure everyone in this forum chat shindig of a doozle can all agree that they would rather spend $25-30$ and see you play for extended periods of time than pay 50$ and only see you perform for a 1/4 of the time. know what i mean?

not to mention, you got 2 more in the works. and the first 2 are fucking unreal. i thought Accelerated Evolution couldn't be topped until Addicted came out. so i don't even know what to expect the next 2 albums. and i'm elated when i heard another Ziltoid album is in the works. so i'm in a nerds wet dream at the moment.

when you headline, get Pelican on the bill, or ISIS and Opeth. fuck it, why not all 3.
