Hope devy is headlining the Friday so he gets a nice long set.
Definitely going to this. I had a great time at BOA this year, and Devy just makes it super sweet. I only wish that he could play for longer. Being that it's a festival I guess a 3-4 hour set is out of the question?
Slightly disappointed that this is only UK show. Hope that just means 'currently' rather than 'exclusively'.
Seems an odd choice too, given the desire to leave SYL behind for a while - will it being at Bloodstock limit the diversity of the show by pushing it towards heavier end of the spectrum? (Don't mean to knock Bloodstock - it's just not my sort of thing)
If the promoter's are listening - we need more shows!

Only one gig in the UK? Damn... I hope he's still coming to Finland
Or even Sweden. Time will tell.

I doubt it. Those slots are for the big names that attract thousands of people, which Devin definately isn't. Expect an afternoon slot for 45 minutes.

According to the folks on the Bloodstock forums, it seems that the 'special guest slot' means sub-headliner. As in 2nd from last. In which case he'd get an hour or more.
Also I'm suprised to see how much of a good response the announcement has got over there. There are tons of people referring to it as 'Bloodstock's best announcement ever'. And of course, I agree.

That's awesome. Maybe a more varied lineup will be seen compared to previous years.
I gotta work out how to pay for this one. I can't miss this now.
Sounding promising. Still, Devin has said he will be doing a whole raft of European festivals so with a wee bit travelling we can all go see him play loads of times
I await further announcements with interest.
I've always meant to go to this...so now it looks like I need to find a friend who's willing and make the trip South.
I guess this is my goal for 2010.
I hope he does a show of his own over here, can't say as Bloodstock appeals.
Very excited. Especially since he's playing precisely one year before my wedding day. It's just gonna be a great evening.
I'm going!
6 hour drive but well.... it's Dev and co.

I don't think i'll be attending.
You can't buy individual day tickets and I'm so far from the metal scene these days that three full days stuck in Derby sounds like a special kind of Hell, to me at least! Never say never though. My love for Devin has made me do crazier things..
