I would have gone with Bastard if it weren't for my slight dislike for the 2nd half of the song...it's still a GREAT song tho, one of my favs.

I went with Planet Rain. It's seems to me like the most epic DT song, and it just gives me chills every time I listen to it. Perfect.

Came down to Bastard or Planet Rain. And Bastard won. I don't understand everyone's obsession with Earth Day, but hey, it's just like, our opinions, man. I like that song, but it doesn't come close to Bastard.

Definitely Bastard - when you drive through the middle of Sydney at 3am it's the perfect soundtrack

Bastard for me, i love that song its really moving and emotional, funeral comes in a close second.

Earth Day. Listen to the first two minutes, then to the last two -- hard to believe it's even the same song. Every time I listen to that song and really make an effort to take in all the layers upon layers of sound and emotion in there, I'm literally exhausted afterward. It just feels huge.

Planet Rain is overwhelming, heavy and probably more epic overall - but not my favorite.

i Chose Earth day cuz of its sheer variety, but it does get a little silly at times, IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY. "just shut yer face and take a seat cuz afterall u're just talking meat, and music well it's just entertainment folks.' great stuff, but 100% epic.... in terms of groove i'd have to say Deadhead is the best cuz it just glides on and on, one long bittersweet dirge.
all the same, the 'destruction!!!!!' moment in Earth Day is just too overwhelmingly awesome

Im sure it changes beat or time signature between two times.
The vocals I feel 'almost' play devs whole range at the time...

Earthday is just the epic off of devs most epic album before ALIEN.... dev sorry it leaked man....

I tell you what, it's pretty hard to split those tracks that are listed. All off Ocean Machine are simply awesome, plus I LOVE the end of Tiny Tears - the crescendo is simply superb.

Let's face it, it wouldn't be a Dev album without an epic would it?
