Fear Factory + Opeth + Killswitch Engage + Ministry(and Static-X, but you wont hear me admit that!) are probably the first metal bands I liked...

I listen to a lot of shit.

At the moment I'm really liking Isis, and Ephel Duath as my new favourites but also getting many a spin lately is Kyuss, The Darker Half, Pink Floyd - Animals, Ben Harper and Led Zeppelin.

Hmm....I liked the "tiers" layout. I think I'll go from metal to the stuff I dig. Aside from this brilliant, crazy dude and SYL, I enjoy Dream Theater (and they're side projects), Pantera (RIP Darrell), Metallica (even through the Bob Rock Era with the exception of St. Anger), Chris Poland, Opeth, and er.....the others would be a long list of virtousio guitarists, starting with the mystical Vai to Satriani, Malsmteen, Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck, Allan Holdsworth, Zappa, Clapton (yes, Clapton), Rienhardt, and many more. And then my stuff I'd rather listen to alone: George Michael, 3EB, Infected Mushroom, U2, you get the picture.....

Oh, Radiohead and Sublime rock my world too.....
