Anyone ever had any? I had my first this morning, and it was rather odd. I tend to listen to music as I sleep, and more often than not it's one of Devy's solo albums. I was up late, didn't get to sleep until around 6 in the morning, and I had Terria on repeat. I was in a half-awake half-asleep kind of daze, and I can remember hearing Stagnant playing, but at the same time I was having a dream which played itself out like a music video. In it, Dev was in what looked like a camper or a small tour bus that was moving. A woman that I can only presume was my idea of his wife was driving, I vaguely remember her looking away from the road for a moment and looking at Dev. Two small kids were running around, into a back section of the camper/bus and then back again. All the while I could hear Stagnant playing, and Dev had a guitar sit in his lap, a pen in his hand, and he appeared to be writing. I think he was also singing in the dream. And then, the moment that sticks out the most, he picks up his guitar and plays the solo of Stagnant. I mean it felt so real, I could hear the song perfectly and I was still dreaming this...it was amazing. That might be uninteresting to alot of you, but it really blew me away, it's the first time i've had a dream where I could actually hear a song being played note for note.

Didn't plan to write about it, and it isn't about his music, but...

A week ago or so, I dreamt I was walking around a strange town. At a certain point, I realized I was in Canada.
Then I entered a pub, and in the door there was Devy talking with someone. I just greeted like a retard (I remember in the dream I was REALLY worried about my spoken english! ) and entered the pub.

Then it started to be the usual paranoid dream. I went out of the bar and found myself at a strange square, with my dog ( ) and two guys trying to steal me. They took two really small penknifes out, and tried to attack me, but I left them KO like a superhero!


PS: This last part hadn't anything to do with Devin, but I had to tell!

I had a dream some time ago where Michael Jackson was singing Soilwork's 'Mercury Shadow' (The line "We know how to spit or swallow!!!" was especially creepy) and trying to attack me...

I woke up with that line stuck in my head, and a feeling of violation.

I don't think I have ever heard Devy's music in my dreams as vividly as the above, but I do fall asleep listening to it quite a lot. I am sure it will make me go crazy one day!

At some point during devlab's run I started having a lucid dream. I was in the same room I was sleeping in, I could hear devlab quite clearly so I assumed I was awake.. the music was getting strange (as it does!) and I felt odd.. then suddenly I appeared in front of myself, and started doing wierd kinda stuff with myself.. normal things, but strange cuz it was me and me..
I very conciously woke myself up, the music maintained from my dream state to waking state.. the only thing that was different was.. well there wasn't another ME in the room!

This kind of shit fascinates me. Reading stories like this, and what I know from my own experiences, have kinda shaped my view on a lot of things. I have found myself in strange places between sleep and wake before.

i've noticed a pattern of a medley of his music in the my dreams, when i'm having a dream that i dont know is going on, really really REALLY screwed up dreams, usually have dev's stuffi n the background, or stuff that isn't even dev but sounds like he'd make it...

also, one dream when i opened my cd player a dark blood red disc was inside it and it said detox.

Again I fell asleep with Terria playing last night, mostly in hopes of having another similar dream to my previous one. Well, this one was alot less clear, and I couldn't exactly make out the music during most of it, but it was definitly caused by what was playing in some sense. I recall being in an all-white elevator that I could see through when I looked down, and I was floating/dangling over a forest. I could make out things moving beneath the trees, but I couldn't tell what they were. And several times, I briefly heard what i'm sure were parts of Tiny Tears. As I came to, it got really wierd, and I had a bit of a flashback to my previous dream. I'm not sure if this was me thinking about it in a half-sleep state or what, but when I recall it now, it seems like part of the dream. There's something fishy about that album.

I had a dream one time where i was in a studio laying down some drum tracks and Devy walks in with a flying V and he's like, ok rookie (or something along those lines) 'i'll play this new tune for you, it's killer, try and keep up'
i dont remember the rest.
BY THE WAY there's a specific term for when you're mostly asleep but you visualize sounds from the real world in your dreams, cant remember what the term is though. I've seen Micheal Jackson singing shit in a dream before too, the creepy fuck was bouncing around a room like a looney toon, i tried to stop his deviant ways but he kept bouncing away with his castrated 'yeeeheee' cries
