I saw Opeth play Melbourne about a week ago - Support act: Contrive.
Lead singer asks the crowd if they have heard of a man by the name of Devin Townsend (More than half the people there gave an honorable yell).
And goes on to say that Dev's mixing their CD.
I just thought, cool.
Theyre from Melbourne i beleive, but yeah, What do you think of them? Seeing them was pretty sweet, they got some really dark ambientesk break downs which i really enjoyed.
And Per Wiberg played keyboards for a song (or 2)..
