I've had this idea floating around for some time and figured I'd get it out here and see if anyone else would love to see Devin do something like this. The idea being Devin going out on his own of course. An entire night of Devin Music ranging the entire career or even play full albums such as Ki or Terria. I've always been one for listening to songs in the context of the album and that's always been one of the turn offs of live shows because band's of course can't/don't have the time to do so. Would anyone else love to see something like this? Maybe have a vote online among fans to see which album they would love to see performed the most or even at the end of this entire DTP chapter Devin should do a four night series of playing the first album the first night and so fourth. Recording it all and putting it into a big package. Am I just thinking out in space right now or would this be a fantastic idea?

Well sounds cool actually and every devy addicted would love it, but I think it would be a little bit to much for Dev since he is just starting to Tour again since quite some Time and then doing 3Hour shows would be very exhausting also I could be wrong and he would be totally into doing this but I dont think that after all the mammoth work on all the Four albums that he would have that much energy already to do this on his upcoming tour, But maybe in the Future let´s say like you Mentioned doing somewhat of an Aniversary DVD or something and Record several Nights following the DTP albums in sequence this I could imagine would be more likely although it´s a money question again I guess produncing DVD´s aint a shopping trip on the Flea Market but all in all a nice Idea you had there.

Well even so I don't think he would have to do an entire tour of Evening With DT. Just do here and there shows between other projects and make sure to hit biggest cities where most people can make ya know? I wouldn't imagine he'd want to do an entire tour of 3 hour show nights. I'm all for him doing it but it's not really what I had in mind since it would be very very difficult. A lot of this idea sparked from frustration that I get with these tours packed with great bands but none of them get the amount of time that give any of them justice. Especially Devin this tour. I respect all musicians and band's for what they do and think everyone deserves the right amount of time and I don't think Devin will get it this time around.

like what coheed and cambria and oceansize did? yea that would be cool but i doubt he'd have the funding/time/availability to do something like that... would be cool tho: 4 night series, 1 album from the dtp each night plus a song or 2 from each previous solo/dtb album. one can always dream.

If Devin or anyone else thinks that those shows really would not sell out they are out of their mind.
