Infinity has Truth and Dynamics on it, for crying out loud... what a bloody great song Dynamics is! Doesn't mean Infi is my favourite album or that I'll try to do my own little list, but... um...

DYNAMICS!!!!

Yep, Dynamics is hot melty chocolate. (That's a good thing.) It's standing on the edge of a cliff with the wind blowing your hair back epic cyclone of anthemic God-noise. Greg's right, it is a pretty massively fucking huge album. Especially the guitar sound at the very start of Truth. Aaaaawwwwweesome.

Plus, Infinity has Unity. And Ants. And Noisy Pink Bubbles.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ocean Machine and Synchestra and City and Terria, but Infinity is the only one that truly transports me to another place. Infinity is a trans-dimensional gateway of an album, whether you're stoned or sober. I'm sitting here listening to it as I type this and find myself completely mesmerised by the music and momentarily zoning out and getting lost in waves of guitar and keyboard wash. Infinity literally becomes a tangible thing, a living breathing other-worldly entity. It's staggering, and it's the only album by any artist that continues to do that to me every time I listen to it, even after listening to it for 8 years.

I'm not going to do a list either, but for the record:

Unity - best album closer
Ants - best technical guitar work
Dynamics - best epic spine-tingling anthem
Noisy Pink Bubbles - best album "hidden" track
Om - best non-album bonus track
Bad Devil - best Devy song containing a trombone solo
