Nah, it could've been worse.
I almost destroyed the cd when trying to take it out of the box for the first time.

Truth be told,I actually knew I had ordered the non-dvd version before it arrived yesterday and that I'd be sending it back. But that story probably wouldn't make Jesus cry,so I took some creative licence in the telling. :P

What happened was is that I i didn't know there was a dvd version untill after I had ordered it from Amazon.I decided to find a DT message board so I could read fans reactions to Synchestra to wet my appetitie while I waited for mine to arrive.ThenI found out about the dvd,but it was too late to change my order.

Important question- This is the version of Synchestra I re-ordered:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CC ... hisProduct

This should be the dvd version, right? There's not much of a description (no mention of a dvd),but it's a 2 disc import and the price is right.

Yo Shredi!

Wicked story dude! That indeed is a metal nightmare, the likes of which I haven't experienced since my parents told me I was too young to see Metallica back in '93 - I was 14 and that fucking sucked.

Are you by any chance a film maker? Reason I ask is because not many people can be arsed to create a story in pictures unless they have some know-how, and being a film maker myself I totally enjoyed the little narrative :)

Also, love the expression you've got over Yoda's image - Up the shut fuck - that rocks my hairy anus! I fall into the same category as you - huge SW fan but not the geek kind.

James.

Hey,thanks a lot guys. No,I'm not a film maker or writer, just a smart-ass  .The idea to do the story in pictures thing just popped into my head last night.I've never done anything like this before.I just got the digital camera out and did it.No big deal really,it wasn't that difficult.I've always been a pretty creative person,so I guessed that helped.I was just trying to give everyone a good chuckle at my expense.

day old male,

I can't really take any credit for my Yoda avatar.I found that on Google a long time ago.All I did was censor the "U" in "fuck" with the photo paint program on my computer.

Honestly,if someone is a huge Star Wars fan, they have to be somewhat of a geek.I mean after all,I did just watch Revenge Of The Sith for the 18th time the other night :P. I'm just not one of those guys that sits around and debates the possibilties of whether or not the Millenium Falcon can actually travel at .5 beyond light speed, like the thing actually exists.

Speaking of Star Wars and being creative,I did write (the only things I've ever written) a couple of short funny Star Wars things and posted them over at theforce.net boards.Check them out if you want and let me know what you think. You can PM me since this has nothing to do with Synchestra. Here's the links:

Back to Synchestra,I really need to know (for my peace of mind,if nothing else) if this version I pre-ordered at Amazon is the dvd special edition:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CC ... nce&n=5174

Thanks again.

Cool, thank you very much.I don't really care about the packaging,as long as I get the dvd.I hate Amazon and their vague desciptions.
