I thought the effects werent too abd... I mean every song was played in the same place... the set (physical set, not setlistr) will eventually get boring.

IMO the visualization gives it all a bit more action and movement... never really hinders your sight of the band.

Hey have you guys found the mixed up version of truth on there??

Wasn't that brilliant? :D

Musical Highlight: Deadhead. 8) :amen:

"Other" Highlights: Dev's impromptu walk down the road, Ryan's fashion sense, Beav's...err..."flight problems" and Dave's driving.

So good to see those RV incidents after reading about them here, what? nearly 2 years ago...

I'm guessing the Namaste thing has something to do with an easter egg on there, but I'm terrible at finding that stuff out and haven't found anything out yet.

It may be on there just as the word "Namaste" - the Greeting.
The word "Recycle" pops up at the end of Earth Day, so it might have just been a tiny little addition.

this DVD is GREAT...I had to giggle about the "Bryan Adams" part as that came after certain remarks of mine on Ryan's board  The songs are all amazing. Deadhead blew me away, I finally saw a live version of Storm...well, the whole set is great. The the bonus stuff is hilarious! I LOVE the easter egg! What an awesome package! Thumbs up, penis too!

I'm gonna have to go with "Life" being my fave song on the DVD. I've never heard that song outside of OM and I thought the live sound of it was incredible. I also like the minor changes they made to it for live performance. That was a huge highlight for me :)

Overall, I really liked the DVD. I started out by finding the easter egg and having a laugh. Then I checked out all the extras before turning my attention to the amazing live segment (and finding yet another hidden surprise - no biggie, though).

No real complaints, except for the visual effects. Exactly what were they supposed to add to the experience? I remember complaining about the split screens on the SYL DVD, but that's nothing compared to this! Halfway through the set, I started thinking about turning the TV off and just listen to the music. (Of course I didn't do that.)

Favorite part: Deadhead/Away/Deep Peace :)

Although part of me is kind of anti asplit screens jsut because i like that live feel, it's kind of cool to watch the different parts being played at once etc

I must confess that I liked it when the screen was split in four...

There are titles that come up for each song, no announcing, its not like a continuous set or anything

He does announce Storm tho :P

I kinda like the effects and the splitscreen. It isn't a 'real' live show, so there are no fancy lights and crazy crowd. The effects are probably to make up for that, to keep it interesting to watch, even if you have seen it a couple of times.

Hmm.....the special effects annoyed me a little when they crossed over the picture but other than that I really liked the DVD. Was a big fan of the setlist as well so that helps.

Did the drums sound a little odd to anyone else during Truth? Kind of muffled or something???
