Interesting. Century Media has been pretty good with their reissues, so hopefully this has something we've not heard before. I'm betting on—at least—the demos for "AAA," "Detox," and "Home Nucleonics." Maybe the "Gunt" demo, but that's kind of worthless for a reissue.

I wonder if Century Media has any unreleased material from those sessions?

they could put "what's new pussycat" on it. in no way related to the album, but it's unreleased and might make a nice contrast.

No, they never got past recording the drums if I recall.

Reissue, not remaster. :P

Ike: It was stated a few times on the SYL boards awhile ago, around the time of Alien's release. Dev was the one who convinced the rest of the band to do it, but in the end they decided it was stupid and ditched it, I think.

Maybe the Live version of Underneath the Waves *crosses fingers*... They'll have to have something rare/new for us anyway (I hope).

I am not in the SYL loop much so I really don't know. All I do know is that there are new liner notes.

well they never recorded the drums for Ziltoid either! :D

(not that i really think devin would go thru the work of tracking DKFH for a reissue, but just had to point that out to reinsure the coolness of Ziltoid :D)

If anybody has the 'making of Alien' DVD, there's a part where Jed is recording guitars for a song and it doesn't sound ANYTHING like any of the songs on Alien, I think that's What's New Pussycat. I think they got farther before they trashed the idea.
