Hi Tracy, I hope everything is going well with Reynor.

I was just wondering when the very first time you saw Devin play guitar was. How much has he improved in your eyes since then?

Thanks,
All the best.
Tim

I wouldn't know a good guitar player from a bad one. I can comment on the immense amount his voice has improved though. The first time I saw Dev sing was Nov 1991 when he guested a song at a show for Byron's Caustic Thought (I thought 'wow, that guy's pretty cute' :D ). And he was a very charismatic front man even then. We didn't meet until 2 months later when introduced by friends at a Grey Skies show. The difference in his voice from then to now is stunning. Sheer determination. There was a time when he wasn't sure he could sing well enough but kept practicing and became in my opinion, amazing.

I've always wondered WHEN exactly Devin became such a kick-ass singer and composer. I mean, listen to Ocean Machine - what a masterpiece and he was what - 23ish or so when he recorded that. and his voice...just listen to TDOM. awesome. I always have the feeling, that dev was born like that :D

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaye!

Oh sorry. My keyboard appears to be hyperactive from time to time (or is it my forefinger?)
