Just found an old 97 SYL interview in german Visions mag, and at the end Dev mentions a project by that name that he's been doin back then as it seems.

might or might not be the very early predecessor to Hummer

The Hummer/Devlab crossover maybe? I don't think I've heard of this before.

Predecessor to The Hummer? How do you figure? The Hummer is described as "peaceful sounds to fall asleep to". Hell was described as "a wall of detuned basses". They don't sound too similar to me...

Anyway, I'm not sure if any of the material from that project ever got used elsewhere. It was supposed to make City sound like a bunch of "happy-go-lucky pop tunes", according to Dev.

If I remember correctly, some of the Hell material actually ended up on the album SYL, in particular I think parts of Dire/Consequence were originally from "Hell."

Theres demo called Idom thats basically Dire/Consequence.....Unless that was actually a demo taken from 'Hell'
