Question about the name

This may be a dumb question but I have to ask. Is the album called "ocean machine biomech" or was OM the name of the band and Biomech is the name of the album? Like Dev called his band and himself OM and released "Biomech" but then he broke them up. This is kinda like how Todd Rundgren's first 2 solo albums were under the band name "Runt" but then he just recorded it all himself and it was offically solo stuff.

I reckon it was unclear at that point is it going to be "biomech" band or solo or what in future. Which is funny since nowadays there is a band called Biomechanical who are all devy fans
Also on topic (almost), Jari Mäenpää of Wintersun, huge Devin fan himself "nicked" the idea and named his first solo album in same way, as in having his name on the cover too. And it wasn't sure was it going to be a band either. It did, and probably it will be just Wintersun on the upcoming 2nd album.

Ocean Machine was the project name, Biomech was the album name. Originally Devin's name was not on the Ocean Machine album like it is now.
You can see the two different versions by doing a
YAHOO! IMAGE SEARCH.

I sometimes forget about the album being called Biomech. I have always just thought about it and referred to it as Ocean Machine.

Not much, I'd imagine.

In Australia the name was never changed over. We requested it be done but the label never did it.

There aren't any Dev relases on vinyl except for Alien. And that one is limited to 500 copies.

yup, which is why there's a box so you can select which colour you want. there were 200 green ones, and 300 blues.
...and back to topic.
