Since the song discussion threads have been going pretty good, I thought I'd throw one in for Accelerated Evolution, and that's Suicide. Personally I find this to be one of the album's better tracks as it's extremely powerful and beautiful. A very solid melody mixed in with that dreary style that just absolutely blows my mind. Beautiful work here Devin.

There are moments (can't recall the chronostat, but it's all around that classical metal solo guitar) that are the biggest seconds of musical glory since Elvis Presley, IMHO
plus, it's my fave track off A.E.

(side comment - WHOA! Willow! :D)

One of the best songs of the record (along with Sunday Afternoon and Storm) IMO.

Really emotive and inspiring.

As I said on the other topic it's the first Dev song I heard and I totally love it.

The chorus ("All my life this is understood...") is one of the best moments of all his albums IMO, and those screams at the end ("All my pride just to keep it inside...keep it INSIDE")...I just have goosebumps everytime I listen to it!

That is one of my fav songs on that Album together with Storm. Those songs are so deep and beautiful, could listen to them 24/7.

It's the part (already mentioned on here) where he just belts out that "KEEP IT INSIDE BOY!!!" that really gets me. I agree though with everything said on here (including what I said earlier), just one of the most absolutely beautiful songs I've ever heard in my life.

I was SO pumped for the album release when HDR posted this MP3 in advance. They had previously posted 'Storm' so this was something quite different, and really showed the diversity of songwriting on the album.

As for the song itself, well it is one of my all time favourites. From beginning to end it is just fantastic. The solo is one of my favourites he has ever done (maybe it will be bettered on Human!) and the whole thing is incredibly catchy, for such a heavy thing. Definately the heaviest thing on the album, although at the same time the most melodic.

Awesome.

when I first heard the album, I knew right away from the guitar intro to this song it would be a good one...And it is still one of my faves on that album.
