Hah, love your expressions and such in the first video.
Great music! Really caught and held my attention, I like your melodies and solos a lot. They're really interesting sonically and not too blatantly wank/shred-like, which usually just bores me. :) Particularly enjoyed that bass solo in the second vid. Great sound, thanks for sharing these!

^^cool thanks for listening
yes, I'm really into the sonical aspect of music, not just in the guitar technique. Experimenting while producing is one of my favourites.

Just listened to your Swimfail stuff, really cool. It's obvious that you are into the "how to put sounds together"-art too.

Yes, absolutely. I would even venture as far as saying that I spend far more time mixing/sampling/adding layers of strange little details and textures to a song than I do actually writing it. ;) I tend to approach the mixing stage as a whole other instrument instead of just a stage in post-production, generally. Cool to hear someone with a similar interest!

^^thanks dude

yes, I made a last fm page once, but it's only 128kbps: http://www.lastfm.de/music/Georg+F/The+Bedroom+Demos

this has a higher bitrate, 192kbps, I think

Loved these!

Looks like you had a lot of fun making and playing these, but the music is also fantastic. Well played and recorded.

Good job dude. More please?

My only gripe is the ending, other than that I say it was superb!

^^do you mean that the outro riff/chord is not in the same key as the part before it?
The idea behind that was symbolizing waking up from the dream sequence and it pulls you right out of the "dreamyness" with the other key OR in other words: You wake up and it's the same key again as during the beginning of the song
I tried the outro in F# and in E and I liked the E one better. But you're right, it's something not everyone would agree on

Anyways, I recorded a new cover video, I played the Riverdance Theme.

IMO my best sounding production so far

You got some cool looking guitars! And you play good too.

And I find your stare funny (at least in the train video and the metal video where you play that riff and stare at the camera with that mad expression)
You should do something more with it. I don't mean your videos should be just about it but I think you're videos are more effective because of your stares.
Am I making any sense? :D

^^ yes, I see what you mean. I specifically had the lighting set up that it's shining up from the floor, for that "spooky campfire story"-lighting

I got mixed reactions about the train video, ranging from a reaction like yours "more staring please" to "you should film this again, this is hard to watch, I'm just listening to the audio of it"
I think the latter one is because it's instrumental music, because it's like looking at someone without saying anything, which creeps some people out apparently.

hmm... this got me thinking, a full band staring video would be something worth doing

Haha I can imagine a video where the drummer constantly stares at you
That would be something.
