Hello there, friends

After watching Dev's video for his Supercrush mixing session, it kinda inspired me to finish up one of my own songs, using a few ideas he mentioned.

please keep in mind, i have no pro gear, just a stock standard laptop with a USB guitar plug for recording

I don't think my mixing could ever compare, but at least i managed to learn some techniques

It's actually a new style and direction for the music I am working on.
I took some ideas i aquired with working on my Viral Millennium project and wanted to mix it with more of an ambient edge.
im really happy with the result and i got a few more songs i hope to post up this week. thanks for listening!

This direction is really something, I have to say... Ambience, guitars plus that kind of epic autumn/melancholy atmosphere is something I really dig.

Can't wait for more songs... That piano part is a freakin heart grabbing thing.

I certainly think it compares. Devin is a person who is very good at what he does, and so are you. I find that once you stop thinking of respected influences as utterly unattainable then you gain a great deal more confidence at what you do.

Beautiful track. I loved how the metal parts of just flowed in the background throughout. Very nicely done, thanks for sharing!

I'm thankful i could share my stuff with you.
I remember when i first joined the forums, i was still trying to kinda learn the whole music making process, its an accomplishment when you can actually hear results which you like for a change

im getting myself a new guitar in a few weeks, im looking forward to recording some new material with it

I like it - a lot! Something that stood out for me was the feel and sound of the drums around 1:30 until the theme dfh-kit came in again. Nice!

The hard task now is to find a vocalist to work with on this project. having the music is one thing, but im sure many of us know that the right singer could make a nice song sound awesome i posted up a blog on my myspace to try and help with the hunt. i hope that there might be some interested individuals out there

I guess, you're not alone with vocalist search, Adrian... Omega Experiment are also looking for a singer.
