Good shit! What are you using the get such a strong sound from your recordings? I can sort of get what you have, but your guitars sound 10 times better than mine usually do.

Wow, sounds amazing and it's free. Neat argument in ongoing warez discussion on "Devin Townsend" subforum :)

I overlooked it: what's with the cab emulation? 7170 VST doesn't seem to have one and I don't see it on the screenshot.

See the keFIR loaded with that impulse? It's that.

But why do you have three tubescreamer clones to boost the amp sim? :o

That's new to me - I've used FIR plugin for noise removal (there's one bundled with Reaper, works pretty cool for a de-noising of stuff ripped off old tapes), but didn't know you can make such things with it. So you can load some file to profile the filter in such way that it emulates speaker cabs? Are these impulses some specially prepared files? Where can I get them?

And yeah, four overdrive plugins AND drive in ampsim set on 7? I really don't understand a thing :)

The TubeDriver plugins are supposed to emulate tubes I just wanted to try them.I have two different tubescreamers which sound completely different. The TSS gives the sound most of its balls while the other tubescreamer makes it tighter and less boomy ( notice how the gain on that one is on 0 ).

Impulses are all over. I use guitarhacks impulses. Google it and you will probably find them.
