Mastodon - Blood and Thunder Cover

Woo! This one was fun! I decided I wanted to record something with my RG3EXFM1. It's not the RG exclusively, the left guitar is the RG; the right guitar is my Les Paul.

It was a lot of fun to record, I double tracked just about everything and for the first time in a while played the bass with my fingers. This is probably the first time the DFH snare has actually fit the music because Mastodon has never really had a thick sounding snare.

Also it's not perfect. There are little mess-ups here and there, but I tried to minimize them.

Comments and all! If someone would like to throw vocals on this I could send you the .wav file if you'd like!

Love it! The guitars are amazingly well done! Shame the drums sound a bit crap :P Good job though!

I actually think the drums sound better than the guitars :P but I'm my own biggest critic...

I originally tried something different with the drums, I was going to run 2 versions of EZdrummer and have one running the non-DFH kit and use just its snare...but that crashed my DAW so I said "fuck it"

Plus there are actually a bunch of little mistakes on the guitar side, you may not be able to hear them but I know where they are

Perhaps once my flu subsides I'll do some vocals for it:)
