So I'm making a concept tech-yes/metal album called "The Chronology of Man." I'm trying to well, give a musical chronology of man and his evolution through time.

So far, I only have a few beats and such. I play guitar and bass, albiet poorly, and have written only 1/2 a song so far on actual instrumental parts; however, 3 songs are done with electronic parts/beats. Basically, I'm looking to see if anyone would like to help out in any way. Obviously, I'll give all credit where credit is due, but since I have big dreams for this, I clearly can't handle it alone. Check out some songs off of my latest album on my myspace ( http://www.myspace.com/djlarrytechyes ). Comments, suggestions, ideas, musical contributions, all are welcomed and encouraged.

Judging by some of the other projects I've heard on these forums, there's a greath wealth of talent. I'm definitely hoping for some awesome stuff.

you have a typo on your myspace link. cool tunes on the myspace. you should probably develop your concept 1st and foremost before plunging into anything else musically so you know where youre going with your music.

Concept albums are serious bussiness. There was one guy here (Chris aka StrappingYoungLad if I remember correctly), who posted a lot and vanished just after announcing he's working on Ayreon stylee concept album. I guess tackling such topic is dangerous.

I'd help if I had skillz, Sab's advice sound good anyway - having concept for everything is good idea :). Mainly musical concept, I mean. Difficult stuff.
