Hello all -

n00b here. Good to be one board, you all seem like a friendly buch of people.

Well, I don't know if this is awesome, or if it borders more on creepy; but this was my big halloween project. I went to the patch, bought a pumpkin, and went to work. This is Dev, immortalized on a pumpkin. I hope you get a kick out of, as the rest of my family thinks it a bit weird





I got his little eyebags and everything! That's one handsome man, right there, seriously!!

Did you really carve that into a pumpkin? Must of took ages! D:
looks cool though in a strange kinda way. It doesn;t look like a pumpkin, more like you've drawn it in strange reds and such. Its cool though

I mean, part of the shading is also done by carving, right? I live in Brazil, since we don't really do anything with pumpkins on halloween, i'm a jack-o-lantern illiterate

Yeah that shading was in the pumpkin - it was really hard too! My wrist was pretty wrecked for a couple days because of that! I'm jack-o-lantern illiterate too - I never carve them, this was a just a fluke that it worked out ok! It's a shame that the mold started in only a few days after it was done. Some mold started growing on his forehead after a couple days, and it kinda looked like he had hair there

xD Are you trying to say Devin has mouldy hair?
I always giggle when pumpkins mould, because they cave in on themselves
