It's called "The Transcender" it's kind of the soundtrack to a person transcending from one life to another or whatever "another" might be.

Check it out if you'd like

Awesome leads, some parts really remind me of Symphony X (the rhythm guitar especially, at times). Any reason it's called 'The Murder Trend' though? Did you change the name at the last minute, or did I somehow get the wrong file? :P

Yeah I changed the name at the last minute, that was just the old file name. Thanks for the compliments.

in-ear infection :P
there's this gooey mass stuck in the duct between my nose and my ear, so it gets me kind of incapable to hear properly, not to mention the pressure and this buzzing that sounds like i've just came back from a metal concert

dude that would suck, luckily I haven't had to many problems with my ears. Not long ago though, I was playing my amp way too loud with a drummer buddy and my ears rang for about 2 weeks. I'll never do that again.

man, that song is awesome! took me a while to write that down here (for whatever reason), but i gotta tell you that i listened to it every day for the last week!
especially that epic slow part near the end is fantastic.

the overall sound is also fantastic - do you record music professionaly?

anyway: all thumbs up :D

+ i added most of your numerous myspace profiles :)

Hey thanks, no I don't record professionally I just record in my bedroom. I'd like to though, mixing and recording are really fun to me but that might change if I had to do it for a job. I hope to get some new stuff up but Im too lazy to program drums lol. I've got a friend who is supposed to do vocals to it but like alot of musicians he's not that reliable. If he doesn't pull through, I'll just ask somebody else, maybe from here if they want to. It's really cool that you listen to it alot, sometimes I think Im the only one. Thanks again :)

Whoa, that's rather monumental. Grrreat synths. And, in fact, great everything.

Hey my friend is a lazy douchebag and will never get vocals done.

Anyone here want to try and do vocals to this song?

I was thinking in the line of Isahn/devin style of vocals, lots of layers at least 2 tracks, very epic sounding lol. Im not too picky (ok just a little) just something cool. I didn't write the song with vocals in mind so it's not really structured for it but I think something might be better than nothing. All I need is the dry tracks and I'll do the rest. If you want to try please email me brigade_762@yahoo.com

Thanks

I liked this song much like I like food. It sustains me and I enjoy it at the same time.
