I had a cool project in an art class where I could choose any subject matter I wanted, so of course, I chose the one, the only, Mr. Devin Townsend. Hope you like it (along with all the extra photoshop altercations)...

Me really loves the first one. The bit with Dev playing the guitar in the bottom right hand corner's particularly savage. Job well done, sir!

The edited ones reek of cheap Photoshopping, which I admit isn't something I care too much for (if only because it's so overused), but the original is superb. Excellent rendition of the man, and the bit in the lower right corner is very cool as well, full of life. Excellent job. :)

This one is a mock cd cover I had to create for an Electronic Design class. It's kinda simple, but we weren't supposed to go too far with it. Naturally, I picked Ziltoid...

This is a class thread. You really do have a future in graphic design, or animation of some description. The Devvy pics were very very good. And the album cover looks as though it could be an actual cover for ZTO.

when you say "photoshopped"... you mean you chose a random filter and clicked "apply" don`t you :P

the original drawing is pretty damn nice though.

Oh no, never!

Sweet! Thanks for all the feeback. I actually did another recent project where I featured DT, but it is currently residing in a display case in my school. I'll post it here if and when I get it back. It's in black and white, and we made it to look uber-sharp...it makes me happy.

Here's a new thing-a-ma-bob inspired by Mr. Townsend. This one was done as the first project for a graphic illustration course. It's a simple piece, but it had kind of a complicated process to make. Hope you dig it...feedback welcome as always.
