Alright, as I mentioned in the other thread I'm currently recording the final guitars for the album. So far, I have recorded 87,5% of all the guitars :) Or in other words, I've got one song left to record :) After that, it's time to finish up all the vocals.

I guess I could do a short run-through of the songs that will be on the album. The track titles are still unfinished, but most should have their final names :)

Track #1: The Core

It starts off the album with a steady syncopated rhythm/lead guitar line over a 209 bpm blastbeat heading full out into the song, and then changes into a black metalish straight shred. The C part goes into a twisty Fear Factory mode backed with dark synth lines, and then returns to a final blastoff to conclude the song.

Track #2: System Failure

Musically the song heads off well into the future, featuring some sneaky guitar lines and occasional fast kicks. Then it's time to gear up the K.I.T.T. and hop into the early 80's  But don't stay for too long, as it's blastoff time again ;) And back to some triplet pickin' & kickin' once more. Eventually you'll just stay in the future.

Track #3: Anthropomorph

Hold your hat! Speed is the name of the game, and the game is on. But it's not all about speed, as you'll soon catch a nice chorus line every now and then. And then it's a blastoff

Track #4: Instigate Hostile Reaction

Just when you thought it was safe, it's time for some tricky times. An evil clean guitar parts kicks off the groove with occasional times when the floor disappears from below. Then it's time for that rocky cliff chorus  But back to groove... Only to find out you've just been sent to space :) - and finally back, just in time for a smooth lead line. Then the carpet is pulled from under you... Treacherous

Track #5: Impulse

This song depicts the ominous times during combat, just before a world wide nuclear demolition. Dark times indeed, so the song can only present you with black metal as an answer.

Track #6: Perdition

If you thought it was fast before, hold your hair! 3 minutes of nearly non-stop ramming at 258 bpm, and just cooling off during the evil melodies of a chorus to prepare for another assault. This is the audio equivalent of the global nuclear explosions.

Track #7: The Silence

What can there be left after total devastation? Only the earth sulking in dark ambience...

Track #8: Venomous Sky

Some time later, the survivors emerge only to be met by poison and cutthroat menace. Fast stuff with an eerie and strange chorus. But somewhere out there marches an evil army, of which faint echoes arrive.

Track #9: Radiant Storm

A storm is rising, and it is no longer water that pours down. Dark melodies remind the survivors of the inhospitable rock that is earth. Hope is long gone.

Track #10: Wasteland Roamers

A brooding wasteland is left for the last living critters. Darkness and eerie ambience.

I'll keep you posted :)

If the rest of the album comes even close to that sample of "The Core" you posted awhile back, then I can't wait for this one.
