Howdy. I finally finished a drawing (this is more of a doodle) for once, as I haven't done that in a long time. I used to draw constantly but have not found the time recently. I used to have a thread here with all my drawings, but that one has mysteriously disappeared....hmm. So I will start this one! SO THERE!

As before this is a ballpoint ink drawing on smooth white A4 card, and I am very pleased to share it here with you guys:

And I am too lazy to crop that image just now, I am tired and hungry!

Blindo rules!

Amazing.

Artists should stop doing drugs. They all should start doing mangos.

That's really cool. I'd almost forgotten about how talented you were.

Awesome drawing. When I see that, it makes me think of the cover to Fear Factory's Soul Of A New Machine.

My dad's buddy is an extremely talented drawer in his own right. He even sent in a comic strip he drew and wrote the story for to a comic book company and they had considered him for a position, but nothing came of it.

I'll post some of his works here later on. They're really quite something!

Soul Of A New Machine? But more because of the colours and not because of the forms, right?

Btw, David... Ever considered making a living from your art?

NOT!!! It rules! Tool comes to my mind when I look at that pic. Really awesome. Who thinks that David should draw some more pics and post them here? :D

Wow, thanks guys! I wasn't expecting such a positive response for this one...! Thanks! I didn't put any planning into it, so it was a bit random. I just started pairing up curves on the paper and then filled it in. I am not pleased with it particularly, also I didnt like my use of red...I dont usually use any colour so that was a bit of a gamble.

I hadn't seen the cover to this album until now...but I see what you mean. I think the red is displayed similarly. Cool cover!

Considered? Yes. Likely? No! Hahaha. I am far too lazy apart from the lack of talent. It is something that I would have to do full time in order to be able to produce any kind of quality or quantity. Maybe when I retire, heh. Its just a hobby at the moment. Thanks though, thats a huge compliment to suggest such a thing.

If I draw anything else I will surely post it here. I have plenty of other drawings scanned, but nothing that recent and you have probably seen most of them already.

I love the shading and sense of depth you have created with using ballpoint! One of my preferred mediums but my drawings are no where near as smooth and fluid as this. Far mor sketchy, chaotic. I love it!

That´s sweet man, I forgot it was you who draw those things way back. :) You have like a constant theme going on which is really cool.

Theme? Can you describe what impression of theme you mean? Just curious.

Oh, and thanks for the comments everyone! It means a lot to me.

I am currently working on the most stupid and ridiculous project ever! I will surely show it here when I am finished, but it might take a few YEARS. Doooh.

Hmm, bad choice of word maybe, I meant your style, technique. I dig it, lots and lots of small things making a bigger picture. Keep it up!
