Aaaarrgghhh!

Sorry for the delay, again, in updating this beast.

I am still waiting for agreed tracks from a couple of people, though I have not heard from them in some time. (This means YOU! Well, maybe.)

Mo is probably going to contribute a neat wee track after all, so that is cool.

If nothing happens in the next few weeks I am going to have to rethink all this, if I am ever to get it finished. I just want to get down to the mixing stage...thats what I am looking forward to. I will count how many minutes of music I have currently and see where I stand...but there may be space for a few more songs.

Hog, this could mean you! I found an accoustic track of yours the other day...what was the name of this song? I have assorted bits and pieces from you, and all of them are mysteriously anonymous.

If anything I will definately do this again, though maybe arrange it a bit differently so that I can have a bit more input towards getting it finished.

Crap...it was last November I started this! If I can finish it in under a year that would be nice.

On a side note, Josiah Tobin and myself may be collaborating on some kind of ambient/freakout/nonsense project...where he makes something cool, and I fuck it up. It could be fun though! No doubt we can share the fruits of our labour here somehow.

Peace,

-Davidmonga

Dude, just set a deadline! If the songs aren't in by then, fuck 'em!

I'm going to have to...at some point. (that doesn't sound very assertive, does it?)

It all depends on how much room I have that needs to be filled. Maybe if I can't get all the songs I will just fill the rest of the disc with farting noises or something.

Things is, I really want these last songs!

Mo (Way Of The Extreme) : Has shown me what I will get, sounds neat
Terraformer : Has recently moved but I am hopefull I will get to hear his song
StrappingYoungLad (Indignation/Kris) : Has been unreachable for a long time (not looking hopeful)
TeamJonny : Was going to give me a vocal version of an instrumental track of his, though the instrumental one is awesome so thats not so urgent.

Armheadmcgee, did you ever hear what I did to your song? I can't remember if you heard the 'remasterificated' version or not.

Ok, right now I am in possession of about 40 minutes of music. I will need a bit of space to breath, but I will still have space for a few more things.

Aye.

Whatcha got? I've got your old SOAD cover lying around somewhere. What's the best thing that you have? But erm, yeah, fire whatever you have over.

I'm floating at 40-45+ minutes of music just now. Yanko is going to give me a track now also, and Terraformer is hopefully going to get his to me. I will still have a bit of space at the end though, no doubt. Get in quick, while you still can!

Though my computer isn't working sound-wise today though. It seems to have been the last install of winamp that has fucked it. Arse!

That will be fine! And if there is not enough time, I will just speed up your song so it sounds like mickey mouse. Deal? Good!

mickey mouse is too much of an imperialistic symbol.

Chipmunks are good, yep!

How long till the song is finished, do you think?

I'm still waiting on Terraformer on sending me his track...and then I will be approximately on top of things. Good thing I never set a schedule or release date for this thing, or I would probably be late!

I actually have a song I performed/recorded/mixed/produced for my Audio Production final this past spring semester. It's a little over 2 minutes. I'm just curious if there is some sort of release/license form you are using for permission to use the tracks. Anyway, if you are interested and have room, I can send it your way.

Well, I have permission from the people wrote and recorded the songs themselves, so I dont think there is any legal issue. Like I mentioned earlier, I also got the OK from Devin himself to include the marimba cover of Canada. Also, the album will be released for free.

I am positive I can fit a 2 minute song on! If you want to send me a high quality version of it, PM or email me and we can sort it out.
