Hi Dev,
I've been curious about the Devlab for a while now, but haven't gotten around to asking anything. I was wondering if it is completely soundproofed? I ask because, now that you can self-produce records entirely within the Devlab, when you sing, how does it feel singing/screaming in that environment? I mean, do you ever feel slightly inhibited performing in your own house as opposed to the studio - or is it actually quite liberating? Is there ever a risk that someone could walk in while you're in the middle of a tricky solo? Do you record directly into the computer or are your amps mic'd up for recording guitars? I also seem to recall Tracy mentioning a while ago that when you were recording The Hummer, she could often hear really strange frequencies coming out of the Devlab - which leads me to wonder how soundproofed the space is? Any information would be great - and any photo's you've got of the Devlab would be super cool too!!
Thanks for the memories bro
