Stopperstimmung (Method of tuning)

Hey guys,
I don't own a TrueTemperament™ fretted axe - onyl a few do - ...well, but there's always nice intersting things to learn, when you thought you know it all.
Recently I stumbled across a guitar tuner for iPhones in the Apple AppStore (external Link to iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSt ... 13597&mt=8 ) I was a bit embarassed about the price, 85 € is really expensive for an iPhone tuning app. But reading the users' comments made me do some research. So this guy Bernahrd Stopper worked on a new way of tuning pianos back in 1988. This is a tempered tuning based on pure duodecimes (here's an english essay: http://www.pianoteile.com/downloads/TUNIC_ONLYPURE.pdf )
Well anyway, I googled a bit and found a really great entry by him in a german musician's messageboard. It explains an appromimate way of tuning guitars by ear to his Stopperstimmung.
1) H-Saite stimmen nach externer Referenz
1) Tune B-string to external reference
2) Flageolett der tiefen E-Saite am 7. Bund auf die H-Saite rein
stimmen (reine Duodezime bzw. 3. Teilton)
2) tune natural harmonic (7th fret) on the low E-string to open B-string
3) Hohe E-Saite mit Quarte E-H stimmen (Quarten sind leicht weiter
gestimmt (0,5 cent) als die normal temperierten Quarten)
und rein Stimmen zur gedrückten H-Saite am 5. Bund.
3) Tune high E-String to a quart with the H-string. The quart is stretched 0.5 cent compared to a normal tempered quart. Then tune to 5th fret of the h string
4) Flageolett der A-Saite am 7. Bund rein auf die hohe offene E-Saite
stimmen (reine Duodezime bzw. 3. Teilton)
4) Tune Natural harmonic A-String (7th fret) to open high E-String.
5) D-Saite offen mit Quarte zur A-Saite stimmen (ebenfalls
überschwebend) und gedrückt am 9. Bund rein zur H-Saite stimmen
5) Tune D String using quart to A-string (again a bit stretched) and then fretted on the 9th fret to the B-string
6) G-Saite offen stimmen mit Quarte (überschwebend) zu D und gedrückt
am 4. Bund rein zur H-Saite stimmen.
6) Tune G String using quart to D-string (again a bit stretched) and then fretted on the 4th fret to the B-string
Please forgive my poor english translation, I hope it works for you.
I tried it and it blowed my mind! I never a a guitar that was so perfect in tune! I really needed to share this with you
