Anyone own a BOSS BR1800 CDR???

Ive had this recording studio in my house for a while now just having a few problems with the guitar sound, when i record guitar with a lot of gain and overdrive it sounds great until you put it on a CD then it sounds slightly fuzzy. You cant hear it while recording even through headphones, anyone know how i can avoid this fuzzyness!?

That's extremely weird, the only thing I can think of is the sampling rate-- if you aren't recording at 44100 and somehow it's aliasing the recording when it converts it to CD audio... but even that's pretty far-fetched. Does it sound fuzzy played back in your DAW, too?

if you have it loud it might be a clipping issue. so maybe turn it down and leave some breathing space in your spectrum

It only sounds fuzzy when played on a CD, any other format its fine, it sounds fine on my computer too. I think i might have the master volume to loud...
