This is an instrumental track called "Gateway" I wrote in the specific style of Dev's solo material, I recorded it all on my comp using EZ Drummer DKFH, Ableton 6, Line 6 POD XT live and a Fender Strat (Made in Japan). The setting I used on the Line 6 was the "Eruption" model which is basically the peavy 5150 I think (nice and chunky) with some delay and reverb. I tuned the same way as Dev (CGCGCE) with a set of 13's on the strat.
The song took me a day and half to write, record, mix and master it was probably the most fun I've ever had recording a song and I've tried to be as acurate to Dev's sound as possible. Hope you guys enjoy the track and if anyone wants to put some vox down I'll be more than happy to send you a high quality version to do so. Listen here:
