Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knew where I could get a sonic boom sample, like the one at the start of truth / several other songs :p

I've looked through Free Sounds and I can't find anything, if someone could point me in the right direction it would be awesome!

Josiah posted it here some time ago. Actually I'd like to get it too, had it downloaded but somehow it got MIA.

There are two kinds I use.

The first one is more of a quick low-frequency impact, keeps getting lower until it descends into the infrasonic range... as such, the audible 'thump' is of a shorter duration than you usually hear in those places where SYL uses it.

The second one is a severely dropped TR-808 bass drum sample with a long decay. This is the kind of one you'd hear in some of the newer SYL songs or other bands that use them in that manner. (The sample below is tuned to a low C, by the way)

Is there an art to the frequency drop in a bass bomb? they have quite a physical impact, I reckon you could get pretty technical with the effects, and the physical (even emotional) results.
