I'm looking for some nice, convenient and as simple as possible multitrack recording proggy. I'm using Kristal Audio Engine, which is cool for its price (its free
), having full support for VST effects and 16 tracks for recording, being very simple, user friendly and generally working fine.
Actually it's near perfect for me (i'm shit in making music, don't have big needs), except one thing: I can't put together drums in it - process of making drums looks like:
1. tediously click out drums in external program (leafdrums2)
2. export it to wav
3. convert wav from 44 to 48khz (ASIO drivers for my old SB live work only in 48khz)
4. import it to Kristal track.
5. if need_correction then goto 1
Very annoying (and derailing train of thought, if it's good idiom).
So, is there any nice, simple (and cheap) program with feature of sticking some drum sequencer on one of the tracks? Or, even better, with such drum sequencer in package. I guess that have something in common with VST instruments.
