Found the song on the official site this morning, way cool! The Infinity EP is already ordered!

Sounds simple, just don't have time to work it out... trying to keep track of my 3 crumb snatchers....

Thanks all,
Chuck

I might do a cover of it someday when I can figure out the guiatarparts and the keys.
The lyrics rule!

Code: Select allE|-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C|------9-11--9--9h11p9---------------9-11--9--9h11p9------------------------
G|---12----------------12-9-12-9---12-----------------12-9-12-9\7-5-7----------------------
C|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
G|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C|----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

main riff chords are I think....
and the lead bends are....

E|--0----0---------------------------------------
C|--0----0-------------------9(10)9 x4----------------
G|--7----4----------------------------------------
C|--7----4------------------------------------------------
G|--5----2----------------------------------------------
C|--0----0-------------------------------------------

That's all I know for now. I'm pretty sure it's correct but bear in mind I can only listen to this song on my phone.

I'll try and get the rest when I can.

I've finally managed to get the song on my PC. It broke the other week so I had to work out the above by listening to my phone. And yes it was hard. It still is though, because after listening to it through a pair of damn good speakers, I can now hear things I couldn't hear before...like the complex lead guitar during the main riff. I'll try and get it but no guarantees. Otherwise within the next week or so I should have the verse and most of the solo sorted.

I'm also trying to work it out on my acoustic, as my electric isn't working.

It sounds nice :)

I did the verses (sorry if it's a bit hard to read. you know the rhythm of the song, so it should be fine :D):

Code: Select alle--------------------------------------------------------
c--------------------------------------------------------
g-----5-7-------2-7-------5-7--------2-7-9-7h9p7---------
c---7---------4---------7----------4-------------7----
g-5---------2---------5----------2-----------------------
c--------------------------------------------------------

e----------------------------------------------------------------------------
c----------------------------------------------------------------------------
g-----5-7-4-0-------2-7-4-0--------5-7-4-0-----------2-7-4-*--------------------
c---7-------------4--------------7-----------------4-------------------------
g-5-------------2--------------5-----------------2---------------------------
c----------------------------------------------------------------------------

* = Slide down on low C string

At least I think thats right. >_>

The chords for the part after the second chorus ("They say...") are:

Code: Select alle---------------------------------
c---------------------------------
g---------------------------------
c---3----0--------------------------
g---3----0--------------------------
c---3----0--------------------------

or

e---------------------------
c---------------------------
g--10----7---------------------
c--10----7---------------------
g--8-----5--------------------
c---------------------------

Either way sounds good, but I like the first way more.

And the solo rhythm (reminds me a bit of Seventh Wave... watch for those slides) (in the song, he does a quick little bit after the second time you hit those 9s. I'm not totally sure of that part, so I left it out.)

Code: Select alle--------------------------------------
c--------------------------------------
g--------------------------------------
c-0--9---0--9---0--9---0--9--7--4--
g--------------------------------------
c-0--9---0--9---0--9---0--9--7--4--

Have fun, I think I got most of it right, but if not feel free to correct me :D

A little more fluid way of playing the intro

Code: Select allE-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
G---12-14-16--14--14h16p14p12-----12------12-14-16--14--14h16p14p12-----12------------------
C------------------------------16----16------------------------------16-----16-14-12-14-12--
G-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the intro is played almost all on the high string. None of that lower string stuff. all 3rd, 5th & 7th with an open note, & a 4rth & 2nd fret on the hgih c (b string).
