If that's aimed at me then It's more complex than that - there's two out puts from my V-Amp (L+R as normal) but then each of those is stereo...instead of two mono line outs combined to produce stereo.

it's difficult to explain but I think that's it covered.

Try adjusting the truss rod. It should be accessable underneath a cover above the nut on the headstock. If you don't know what you're doing, take it to a guitar shop and ask them to set it up for you.
