Well this is probably one of my all time favorite things to do on guitar. I'm not talking about EVH "Eruption" style tapping. I'm talking about stuff like this:

Anyone else into this kind of thing, or anyone else working on/doing this stuff? I've been working on it so much, but I always find myself playing in standard and regular drop tunings. It seems open tunings are the way to go from the likes of Michael Hedges and Justin King.

Learnt about fingerstyle playing from artists such as Kaki King, Justin King (exactly that song you posted), followed by Andy McKee and then learnt about the master Michael Hedges.

Some obligatory extra videos:

If I'm ever cremated Aerial Boundaries is one of the songs I'd want to be part of the service. I think it's so beautiful.

Whereas if you live forever it will have to go unplayed.

A chance I'm willing to take.

McKee is another one I was going to post. Kaki King is absolutely astounding to me. Not to sound sexist, but she is the first female guitarist to really wow me. Her stuff is very inventive.
