Since there's something screwy going on with Powertabs right now, does anyone have any Truth tabs done in normal text format? I'm trying like crazy to figure out the fingering to the whacked-out part starting at 1:21 where Dev sings "I warned you" over and over.

I have the Terria special edition so I have the entire song done up to that point, but I just can't figure this part out and I want to be able to play this song all the way through just ONCE so I can say "Well holy shit, I can play the greatest song ever written."

And yes, I'm tuned to open C. I'm really starting to love this tuning.

good job but not very correct unfortunately, well not the way Devin plays it. Maybe sounds right though...The Billy & myself tabbed out damn near everything about 2 years ago or so on the prostheta board. Maybe the billy still has it.

That would be fantastic if you could post that.

While the above tab is relatively close, it's definitely not the fingering Dev uses, at least not on the Terria Special Edition video. He uses hammer-ons for the opening notes and I don't see him use his pinky at all. Of course, he is moving rather rapidly, but still. I do thank you for posting this, though. Please keep 'em coming! I want to master this song before I graduate this Spring.

on repeat of the second time through of the second line, don't palm mute

The change from the 4th string hammer-on 4th fret to the two-note 5th string 4th fret to 5th fret pick can be a bit tough. I hammer with my middle finger on the fourth string then follow with my index then middle finger on the 5th. Same goes for the hammer-on in the second line, from the 4th string 3rd fret hammer to the 5th string 3rd fret to the 5th fret pick. For those who don't know, the lowest C string is the 6th string, and the high E is the first string. I would word that better, but I'm not technically articulate, in guitar-speak at least. I hope that makes sense.

Have fun trying to play that at the speed Dev plays on the actual song.

Alright, here you go. I believe everything is correct. That fingering is a bit tough, but with practice, you can make it work. I may be a note off somewhere in the "I warned you" part, but it sounds correct, so I'm sticking with it. Let me know what you think, guys!
