Though that's probably just my preference. I could stare at those things all day.

Have one I made from the morning before my oldest brother's wedding, for which we were staying in a hotel in Hopfen am See (Germany). I woke up early and was greeted by this view:

Nice thread.

Good choice with the roller coasters... I also, could stare at awesome pics of them for ages.

My mates older brother is currently on a big rock climbing tour thing in America. You can see him below (...kinda):

I love buildings/architectural stuff too. This was taken from the Burj Khalifa:

Do you know if this picture is copywritten or not? I'm looking into album art :)

Partially.

Ah, it's cool actually. I had a friend make an attempt and I love the outcome. But thanks for the info!

http://www.spacetelescope.org/images/

There are so massive pictures on that site you can get lost in just one of them. So try not to get lost in this site. Im lost in this one right now: http://www.spacetelescope.org/images/heic0707a/

edit: I forgot to mention that on the site you can zoom the pictures without downloading the whole thing on your computer and opening it with an image browser. Just scroll down a bit and on the left youll see "zoomable". You can also view all the zoomable pictures from the menu on the right.

You can also download it and other pictures too in their original size to your computer but the resolution is so insane they warn: "Very few computers will be able to handle the "full resolution images," which are intended mainly for digital and printed material." My computer handled it just fine though and its at least 5 years old.

http://www.spacetelescope.org/static/archives/images/original/heic0707a.tif (It is around 0.5 Gb)

Another thing I like to get lost in is fractals.
