Killswitch have a released a teaser for the new (Second) Self Titled album. I'm a die hard Jesse Leach-Era fan, but I guess the new stuffs not bad  Figured a few of you would like 'em though!

You can download the song if you click the image of them looking suave and just provide an email. You can opt out of any notifications as far as I'm aware. Super fast download speed too!

Catchy as per with KsE, although a bit repetitive if you ask me!

Enjoy! :D

At least they play metalcore that, you know, doesn't make your ears bleed. There's something to be said for including melody in the songwriting process.

Slag all you want, people. This is the band that wrote "Arms of Sorrow" and "Life to Lifeless". Those two songs alone make it worth it to me to see what they've come up with this time.

My Last Serenade, Fixation on the Darkness, Darkness Falls? All awesome songs. Needless to say, I like Howard's voice...but ever since he joined I noticed they began writing the same song over and over again. Go back to the Jesse days, and we had a seriously different band on our hands. Now they are just considered the band that was.

I can totally understand some people's dislike towards Killswitch Engage, and I have never had a problem with it. Sj_2150's comment baffled me, If you feel that way, why did you even open the topic? Let alone comment?

Nevermind

The new stuff is okay, but as Alucard said, Jesse Leach era KsE are a totally different band, and that is the band that absolutely changed my entire perception of music and HOW I listened to it. When Alive Or Just Breathing came out, It was a very dark time for me when I get hold of it, and it helped me and has always helped me get into a positive state of mind, along with Ocean Machine and Death of A Dead Day. Whatever anyone has to say about that era of the band, and that album, I couldn't care less. Its a truly honest, relevant and talented album. That said, I'm always curious of what they have to offer.

If anyone here is a fan of Jesse himself, he is currently working on releasing an album alongside Adam Dutkiewicz (Producer and Guitarist in Killswitch) as the "Times Of Grace" project. A 2010 release is expected. I'm pretty anxious to give it a listen.

I wonder what Devy has to say about Adam D's production. I'd have to say he's one amongst the best producers I've heard, and has the ability to get some absolutely astonishing tones and dynamics out of bands.

Adam is a good producer. I like when band's have a producer amongst their ranks because it seems to give the band a lot of freedom.

Killswitch has just gone too mainstream with Howard on vocals. I mean I heard them on the radio a few years ago when Daylight Dies came out...that both made me happy to hear a different kind of music on the radio and say "wow...I cant believe these guys have gone so low..."

There's a reason he's got that little red tag beneath his name, y'know!
