Listened to the whole "The Maps is Not the Territory" so far and already want to stick big, glowing AWESOME badge on it. It's pretty much great, is it yours?

(listening to the other album nao)

Few words for anyone who looks there and can't decide if want to download it - it's big fat pile of atmospheric, instrumental, well produced djent :).

Nope, man. I'd wish it was mine though. Glad you liked it. It was recommended to me by a friend today. just got back home after an hour-long jog and launched this brilliant wall of sound.

It is really heavy and relaxing. So much good music these days. Check the new Mastodon out. An instant classic. I never really admired this band but this new album is just so different.

If you want to hear my stuff, feel free to get it from here. It's from 2001, and does not sound great as per todays standards.

Sounds pretty cool, but it doesn't grab me at all. In no way memorable for me. I'd really like to know what I'm missing since everyone seems to absolutely rave about bands that sound like this. :( I don't hear the SYL similarities at all, but maybe that's just me. Perhaps I'm just dead tired of the same old instruments and technical riffs? Ehh.

EDIT: Hmm, perhaps it's growing on me. Still undecided. :P

Yeah not that SYLish at all. It's just that standard meshuggy 4/4 over something/something. I can agree it's kind of formula music, but I love it to the bits. And this particular specimen is focused on atmosphere, which is ace.

DFH drums in EVERYTHING grows old a bit, though :)
