Is anyone else as pissed off with our government as I am?

Does anyone else realize that Obama has asked for a 3.6 TRILLION dollar budget to "Fix our economy".

All of his ruthless spending has so far done nothing for our economy. Sure the DOW has gone back over 7000, but look how much it has dropped.

Dont even think about blaming this on Bush, look to Congress while playing the blame game.

Basically what I'm getting at is the fact that all Bush haters complain about the debt he gave our country...in 8 years time. Obama on the other hand has already had over a TRILLION more dollars added to that debt in just 2 months in office.

This is uncalled for, reckless and could easily spell the end of America as an economic super power.

I hope all Obama supporters are happy with their choice, because so far nothing has changed except for cigarette prices.

What did this entail?
Spending a shitload of money on public works and getting things moving again.

You cannot expect economic recession to be solved in two months.
You can't expect it to be solved in a year, or even two.

Give the man some time, and judge when it's dealt with - not when he's proposing solutions.

Economic protectionism and freaking out is what made the Depression become worse the first few years. And that's what the right wing, worldwide, is suggesting. The nations following that policy have seen their economies worsen.

Show some patience, and observe. And try to learn from history a bit, will you?

A bit of history? FDR was the closest thing to a socialist this country has ever had as a leader. America showed its strongest economic status under Reagan, a republican.

It is true he brought us out of the Great Depression, but that was a depression, we're only in a recession right now. Enough spending though will bring our country into a depression and will cause income taxes to sky rocket over the next few years. I already hate the government taking money out of my paycheck, do you think I want them taking any more out? No.

My main reason for this is that people bitch about Bush's deficit over 8 years whereas Obama has already added over a trillion to our deficit in under 2 months.

Also note how many things in The New Deal failed and havent ever been used again.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are facing days without remorse.

I may be what you'd call a "Right wing conspirator" but I've been provided with many valid sources.

The city I live in is considering Martial Law as a means of cleaning up the police force. With that, I think the American dream is being streamed through a blank screen.

Domestic Terrorism? Because I oppose our current administration and are behind people such as Ron Paul, I am going to be considered a possible terrorist? Because I love my freedom and wish to find a way to defend it properly and how it should be done, I'm subject to being an enemy?

Obama signed the bill for Mandatory National Service, what a clever way of saying "The Draft has been reinstated".

I'm sick of this country and it's people being looked at as a huge dollar sign. With this new 5-fold plan we can see the price of a single loaf of bread increase to a total of $15 dollars.

Isn't this something to consider? You can do something!

Well I wouldnt go as far as saying I'm a conspirator, because I'm not.

But the second you hear about people like Ron Paul being considered domestic terrorists because they believe the opposite of the current administration then we need change, quickly.

Our Constitution has something about this, I think it has to do with that evil Second Amendment that most people in Washington seem to hate.

I'd consider myself more conservative, and I know now that's a major taboo and looked down upon, but I really loved when we had the right to say and think what we pleased.

It's only a matter of time until a few Europeans come in here and start saying "it's not so bad, you'll learn to live with it." Of course you would think that, you've never had the freedoms Americans have. The second my government tries to tell me how much money I can make, I'll be moving out of this country...where? I dont know...But it wont be here.

P.S. Ny cigarette prices are completely out of this world. I have officially seen the $12 pack of cigarettes. American Spirits in Times Square cost almost $13, it's outrageous. I live on Long Island, but I'm still paying pretty much $8.

Hell, both Republicans and Democrats in congress and the senate arent doing SHIT. Republicans have no voice in either because the democrats hold such a majority. This is not how America should be, there should be a say on both sides.

First off, I'm not homosexual, they dont bother me so I dont have anything to do with them.

I dont gamble online, my uncle does and I dont see anyone breaking his door down about it.

Ahh I see: I don't like those freedoms so they don't count as freedoms.

I wasn't saying that the UK is any better by the way: Just making fun of the ridiculous "America is an amazing shining beacon of freedom, and non-Americans just can't understand because they hate our FREEDOM." patter that a certain subset of the American population likes to come out with.

I can understand your supposed reasoning though, you think because something doesnt pertain to me I dont think we should have it, the thing is I just dont care. All I care about at this point is that our government is getting too big, trying to socialize the banks, and trying to interfere with business. Our Constitution blatantly states that our government here in America should do none of these.

But of course why would we think about the Constitution right? I mean its over 200 years old, it's outdated and worthless now, right?

Do some homework as to why I posted this instead of spewing the same European-esque "learn to live with it" vomit that I mentioned earlier.
