I actually moved the amp across the room and tested it, thinking you were on to something. Then I got the joke.

Nathan:

UNPLUG THE POD. Plug DIRECTLY into the amp. Does it still do it? If yes, SWITCH CORDS. Does it still do it?

I did both things (in the video, never the less) and it still did so.

Have you tried a different guitar? (If you have another..)

Cus, my Strat has been really gay to me recently... sometimes when i switch to the bridge pickup from neck... it just cuts out... but if i strum the strings really hard something gets through...

Like... having the gain turned to -3 ... however that'd work

But if i quickly switch, away from bridge back to bridge, it comes back fine...

But the problem you're having actually sounds a bit like what happens to me, but with more 'guitar info' getting through...
It could be some wiring in your guitar... cus thats what im guessing mine is

If your guitar has active pickups you may need to replace the battery.

I tried the amp with my strat (passive pickups) and I still get the same issue. It does sound like the battery's going out, though.

Both guitars sound fine when using the same cord on a different amp, its definatley an amp issue.

Yeah, definately the amp then... but, i dont think anyone here will be able to help...

It needs surgery... open it up and mess about... or, get a pro to fix it

That's what it sounds like, but that dosen't make any sense because I went for a trip and didn't use it for like a week, and then I came back and turned it on and it's doing this. But yeah, I know some people I can take it too.

Could be an eletrical fault then, get it checked out.. theres nothing more frustrating then a bad sounding amp!
