Hey all, not sure if this has been mentioned, but this movie looks like something many of you would probably enjoy:

A documentary following Anvil - big 80s hair band that never quite made it, Spinal Tap-style. Except for real.

Looks awesome and is apparently pretty funny and moving.

If anyone gets a chance to see it, I'd love to know what you think (either here or in the film thread). Cheers!

My godson was telling me about this only last weekend.

He has a copy, so once I've obtained and watched - I'll post.

I've been wanting to see this for a long time now. Evidently, VH1 bought film rights to distribute it for 18 more cities. It may be a few years before it hits home video....

Fair enough. I have a head not dissimilar to Dev's current 'do, so any band with hair is a hair band to me. But point taken!
