Yes this does deserve its own thread.

New band featuring Stef Broks on drums, Tymon of Cynic on guitar and others. This is ridiculous. It's true "jazz metal", the only thing missing is Fredrik Thordendal!

Cannot wait for their full length!

Have checked out the one track they have. Sounds incredible. Will definitely track it down when it comes out.
Are they only doing a run of 1000? That'll sell out in an hour. You'd reckon they'd do more, yeah?

Well, I will try to pre-order a copy. If not I will live with a download. I want this music.

Ooh I was wondering when they'll release something. I think they're pretty old band already, I've heard some of their old demos on the internet I think. Demos were so-so, but new song on myspace is pretty amazing.

BTW, Robin Zielhorst, their bassist is also touring Cynic bassist, pretty rocking dude.

One mention of them! One mention so small it can easily pass you by with the mention of Textures and a video of them!

Wow! Thanks for the recommendation Alucard.

Those guys sounded great; although I don't think I've ever heard a metal/fusion mix before. AND ... I believe I heard a fretless bass in there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard some serious slides, glissandos. Very cool.

Yea, probably fretless. Could hear some Stick in there also, the bassist of Cynic loves using a Stick.

Another "jazz metal" band, this one is more extreme but also instrumental.

O Me Oh and Sagaie are the better 2 examples.
