Just curious. I'll start:

I have been a weather forecaster for the United States Air Force for the past 14 years.

So, what do you do for money / during the day?

I would say I'm a farm worker but I'll be gone come Wednesday. I guess I still am until then though... Good work, not so good pay, but I get to work outside and run over things with a tractor :)

I'm a student. I do some tutoring when I can.

Other than that, I work for my father over any break at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA. Essentially, I do lots of mental math and move food/drinks around all day.

Chilled and frozen food warehouse. Thats where I work, not what I am... and I think I am supposed to call it a 'distribution centre'.

I hug dolphins for a living, sort of. Well, cosmic hugs.

Ok, I am a marine chemist. I keep the seas clean using my fists and my brains. Arrr.

I've recently been promoted to a service technician for a local A/C company. Pretty decent money, rather rough work. I'd like to find something new but with the way jobs have been around here I think I'll stay a bit longer!

If I was a politically correct-oriented person, I would say i'm a Interior wall engineer :D

But, I'm not, so I'll just say I'm a Drywaller. Been at it for 15 years, and my back and lungs are feelin it.

The best part is I can put on my head-phones, and listen to music all day. The bad part is dealing with the business side/

disgruntled contractors/painters/home-owners, and a crap economy. Thank heavens for re-models.

On a side note: Being self-employed blows for health insurance purposes. :( My wife has been denied by every insurace company

weve applied for, on the grounds that she is female, and currently has a pulse, rendering her un-insurable  Jackballs!

Sofware Engineer. Varies between tedious and really interesting.
Good money and close to home. Plus I can plug the headphones in and listen to Dev at anytime.

For the last few years I've been a part-time Jack-of-all-trades in a school, mostly office work. It fits in with the kids' holidays which is why I do it. Before I had kids I was a secretary for several weird and wonderful organisations and then later a desktop publishing operator at my old college. Aside from that I've lived on farms nearly all my years so that's a constant in the background - its been a long time since I drove any tractors though (thank goodness).
