Hi,

i have just finished my exam (hurra!) and have to translate the title of my thesis in english. I´m not very good at it, so maybe someone with better english skills can help me?

Does this title make any sense? (there´s too much "of", i think...): "Future perspectives of the occupational area of social work and expectations of studying and occupation of first-semester students of social work". (german title: "Entwicklungsperspektiven im Berufsfeld Sozialer Arbeit und Studien- und Berufserwartungen von Studienanfängern Sozialer Arbeit")

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :alone:

Thanks for the feedback, Nathan. Yes, it´s too long in german as well, i know...

I´ll try to explain what i mean:

The first part "future perspectives of the occupational area of social work" should mean that my thesis describes, how professional "social work" and it´s surrounding conditions are changing (for example because of reorganization of social services based on principles of business administration).

The second part "expectations of studying and occupation of first-semester students of social work" should mean that my thesis describes, how first-semester students of Social Work think about their own future perspectives, what they want to learn at the university, what occupational areas they are interested in etc.

The point of my own work is then to compare the needs of the future occupational area and interests of the students.

I don´t know if that´s a bit more understandable, my english sucks... :-(
