Does anyone have vectors made of Devin logos?

I'm in a need of at least SYL and DTB Image this.

Since I don't know how or where to get BIIIG pictures or plain vectors,
I turn to you guys.

Help me out here, and tell me the true nature of my reality!

Ooops, wrong line

But you guys (hopefully) know what I mean, so help me if you can.
Karma will pay you back

(I do have a scanner, but the plug in it is so old that my new
shiny computer doesn't have a slot for it and I don't have time to search
for a transformer thingy :()

It seems to be hard to find a large version of the DTB logo, but if you throw whatever image you find into Adobe Illustrator, don't blow it up too much, and then trace the logo, you'll have your vector outline. The image can only be increased in size so much, but if zoom in and trace the image small, you can increase your vector's size however large you wish afterward. That's probably your best bet. Of course, if the image is crazy-small, then you can only do so much, unfortunately.

I believe Atari has made vector images of both SYL and DTB logo's. I'll probably have them somewhere.

By the way, if you need a proper DTB-logo you might try http://www.hevydevy.com, click on "Fan" and get the Synchestra-flyers. I believe they have a rather large version of the logo.

EDIT: Yeah I have the DTB logo as a .eps file.

you can use the path tool in photoshop to draw vectors and scale up to what ever you need. you can even save as an EPS file which means you can use it later for any size.

Photoshop is based in bitmap (uses pixels to create images), so it is extremely limited when it comes to resizing images, especially very small images. Illustrator is all vector (uses math and calculations to create images), meaning that almost everything that it can put out (anything that isn't rasterized) can be scaled up or down in size, basically indefinitely. Photoshop is perfect for photo altering/retouching. Illustrator is perfect for playing with type and creating graphic breakdowns.

nah, there is the thing about vectoring, i can't do it,
I've been somewhere else when that was on the schedule..

But I've got now one vector (thx Biert) but it would be
nice if they were more easily available :D

Making wallpapers and stuff can really piss one off if
you need to "ruin" someone else's wp to get logos out.

You know what I'm talking about

The path tool in Photoshop creates vectors, which can be resized without losing detail.

That said, the vector tools in Photoshop are absolutely rank, and I wouldn't recommend using it for vector stuff unless you can avoid it.

I made the vectors ages ago (along with the Ocean Machine one)

If you've got 'em, host em. I don't care.
