I've never played WoW, but the whole hype of it makes me want to ignore it all together.

RPGs are boring

My old roommate was hardcore into WoW, and he got fat and smelled like shit as a result. Now he lives back with his grandma and probably touches himself to thoughts of night elves and goblin cocks.

I played WoW for a while. It got boring around level 15. Then I tried again a whole time later, and the same thing happened.

RPGs aren't boring by default though. Morrowind is one of the best games ever. And right now I've been playing a bit of Overlord, really cool too

i got into the beta of WoW
and it was pretty bad then, mostly just grinding to get new level and/or equipment, but no real drive to do so
quests are boring as well, either kill x of such creature
or kill such creature untill you get x amount of stuff

Thats not a game, thats a form of torture!

I used to have my own private server. Closed it down last week cause I hardly played it myself and my PC was practically inoperable with the server on it
