this might seem a bit out of place, but i need help.

is anyone here a vet?

my cat's been behaving oddly since sunday, and yesterday night he started to throw up. there was no blood, just the food he had eaten previously that day. there's no signs of fighting.

by behaving oddly i mean he tries to pee but he cannot, and now he's lying down on his carpet. he's been drinking water, but no eating.

im taking him to the vet soon, but i'd still appreciate if any of you could help me.

I'm no vet but I got a cat myself so I'm feeling with you Hope he'll be fine again soon. Could be a problem with his bladder obviously. Yeah, you should take him to a vet tomorrow...if possible today

he's at the vet now, i shall pick him up tomorrow

Any idea what was the matter with him?

I have two dogs (4 yrs and 2,5 months) and they've been
always healthy.
That's why I get easily worried if they behave oddly, because
I haven't seen any symptoms or illnessess and don't yet
know how they behave when something comes up.

I've read a lot of books and talked with vets about diseases,
but book-knowledge isn't always enough.


Hope the kitty-cat is better already!
I guess he got some antibiotics?

i have a cat and she chucks up all the time coz she over eats... shes such a bitch

my puppy also throws up a lot, but it's only because
he's little tummy can't handle the speed he eats

It's going to pass when he understands that the food won't
run away since it's already in his plate

Few scratches he does have on his snout, but he got what he
asked for;
disturbed older dog's eating.

it was the damn food, damn fucking whiskas and other supposedly fancy brands containing too much magnesium and other minerals clogged up his uretra, so he couldnt pee and all the urea went to his blood, almost poisoning him. took him to the vet and he spent the night there, on suerum.

im on my way to pick him up now.

We had the exact same thing with our cat....gotta get him the expensive food now, but he's worth it

Sounds like in a couple of days, your cat will be ready for consumption again

FUS is what he has.

i wont tell you the conditions he was in when i picked him up, ill tell you i had to take him home, he's much calmer now.

I'm glad you took him to the vet, and I hope he gets better. Our little ones, I tell ya...

i'd like to have a bunny.
